Job summary

The City of Plano Parks and Recreation Department seeks a skilled Park Plumbing and Pool Technician to maintain our parks, pools, and facilities. You’ll inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing and aquatic systems, including drinking fountains, restrooms, pool pumps, filtration, water slides, and related equipment.

In this hands-on role you’ll coordinate with Recreation staff and other City departments, perform backflow prevention testing, support facility improvement projects, and

• Experience maintaining and repairing plumbing and aquatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing fixtures and pool equipment.
• Strong customer-service mindset and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing and aquatic systems in parks and pools.
• Coordinate maintenance with Recreation staff and other City departments.
• Perform backflow prevention testing and assist with facility improvement projects.
