Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department seeks a part-time Maintenance Technician I for Horizons Park. This floating role covers vacancies at all Community Parks, performing a range of maintenance tasks and public-facing duties.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with basic maintenance experience and a valid driver's license. Duties include restrooms, mowing, mulching, and operating power equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in basic building or grounds maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms and shelters.
• Mow, mulch, weed/spray, blow debris and leaves.
• Trash/litter pickup.
• Rescue boat operation.
• Work with the public.
• Operate various equipment including tractors and handheld power tools.
