Zusammenfassung

National Park Service in California seeks an Interdisciplinary - Project Manager within the Maintenance & Construction Division to guide planning, design, construction, rehabilitation and repurposing of park structures and facilities.

You will provide engineering/architectural guidance, manage multiple design and construction projects from inception to completion, and coordinate funding requests to sustain park facilities over the long term.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Architecture or related field with specific coursework in design, structural tech, materials and environmental control systems.
• Broad knowledge of architecture principles and design/construction practices.
• Specialized experience in project management for design and construction projects.
• Transcript submission required to support education and basic qualifications.

Aufgaben

• Identify, quantify, and develop solutions for complex maintenance issues for park facilities.
• Develop estimates, scope of work and technical criteria for contract packages and COR oversight.
• Prepare project funding requests and manage electronic facility management systems for funding authorization.
• Apply best practices to sustain a multi-year facility program and reduce the facility condition index (FCI).
