Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a Part-Time Facilities Painter to maintain the appearance and condition of park buildings, guest areas, fences, themed elements, and signage through painting, staining, and surface prep. You will prepare surfaces, apply coatings, and ensure safety while working around guests and attractions.

This role requires weekend and holiday availability in an active amusement park environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic knowledge of painting techniques, coatings, and surface preparation.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming.
Apply paints, stains, sealants, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
Paint and maintain park facilities including buildings, restrooms, food and retail locations, and guest areas.
Repair minor surface damage such as cracks, holes, peeling paint, and weather-related deterioration.
Match colors and maintain park paint standards and theme specifications.
Follow safety procedures for ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and chemical handling.
Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.
