Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in San Diego seeks a skilled electrician responsible for maintenance of electrical systems across the park.

Requires CA general electrician or C-10 license, 4+ years in commercial electrical maintenance, NEC knowledge, ability to read schematics, and physical capacity. You will install wiring, troubleshoot 24–600V, perform safety-compliant work orders, and support leadership.

Qualifications

• Possess general electrician license in California or a C10 Contractor’s license.
• Minimum four years experience in electrical maintenance and with new electrical construction, primarily in commercial applications.
• Have and maintain a valid state driver’s license; be able to meet SeaWorld vehicle requirements.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and state/local electrical codes.
• Strong background in commercial wiring.
• Understand motor starters, lighting, ballast, HPS, metal halide, neon.
• Proficient in reading single line diagrams and schematics.
• Electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Able to plan daily workloads without direct supervision.
• English reading/writing speaking ability; follow instructions.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; or related education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring to code as directed by supervisor; troubleshoot 24–600V AC systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair general lighting and power circuits and related devices.
• Install additional lighting and receptacle circuitry in existing structures and new additions.
• Perform maintenance and repair of commercial electrical appliances in food preparation.
• Open/close work orders using a computer.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
• Read and interpret single line diagrams and schematics.
• Assist leadership team as assigned.
• Complete tasks within stated time frames.
