Job summary

The City of Henderson is seeking a Park Aide (Part-Time) to assist with the routine ground and custodial care of City parks, facilities, and recreation areas under general supervision. This at-will, part-time position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a Nevada or border-state driver’s license.

Work schedule is Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., not to exceed 19 hours per week; may require holiday work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of full-time equivalent experience performing general maintenance work.
• An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered.
• Possess and maintain a valid Nevada or 'border state' driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs unskilled work in the routine ground and custodial care and maintenance of City parks, facilities, athletic venues, grounds, and other landscaped and recreation areas; and performs related duties as assigned.
