Job summary

The Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church ensures the parish campus is safe, functional, welcoming, and well maintained. The role oversees upkeep of buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems while supporting church ministries, events, and operations.

It includes routine maintenance, vendor management, inventory control, and event support. Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed, with on-call availability for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Roman Catholic Church structure and teachings.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems in a church campus.
• Ability to repair and maintain facilities and manage contractors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operating condition and appearance of parish buildings, facilities, equipment, offices, and grounds.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Coordinate janitorial and facility-service vendors to ensure timely, quality completion.
• Track inventory and order maintenance, groundskeeping, and cleaning supplies.
• Assist with event setup, decorations, and groundskeeping tasks.
• Maintain HVAC and access control systems for parish events and activities.
• Follow diocesan safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
