Job summary

The 4000 Archdiocese Of Seattle Payroll Svc is seeking a dependable Custodian to maintain parish buildings and grounds across multiple locations. You will perform cleaning, light maintenance, event setup, and safety tasks to support church operations.

The role requires independence, the ability to lift 25 lbs, climb a ladder, and travel between four parishes as needed. A comprehensive benefits package is provided with this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Maintain parish buildings and grounds in a clean, orderly condition.
• Perform light maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for events by staff.
• Ensure safe handling of waste and cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

• Dust mop and vacuum floors; clean bathrooms and wash windows.
• Maintain wood furnishings with oiling and care.
• Manage parish grounds: mow, water, edge, weed, prune seasonally.
• Keep playground safe and clean.
• Assist with chair/table setup and moving equipment.
• Maintain supply inventory and order cleaning supplies.
• Participate in Parish Safety Committee.
• Travel between four parish locations as needed.
