Responsibilities

• Oversee Injection Department (General & Anticancer) operations focusing on quality, service, cost, safety and people development.
• Align strategic objectives and implement them within the Injection Department to meet expectations.
• Design, maintain and improve plant systems and practices per quality standards.
• Plan and execute monthly production planning.
• Investigate quality issues with the quality team and develop corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for technical upgrades and drive technology upgrades with the head and project team.
• Ensure readiness of Injection Department for regulatory inspections.
• Monitor productivity and drive continuous improvements.

Key Job Description

1. Responsible for overall operation of Injection Department (General & Anticancer) with respect to Quality, Service, Cost, Safety and People development.
2. To align strategic objectives and goals of the company and implement them at the Injection Department (Hormone & Anticancer) to achieve expectations.
3. Responsible for design, maintenance and improvement of plant, systems and practices as per Quality expectations.
4. To plan and execute monthly production planning.
5. Investigate and analyze any quality issue during manufacturing along with the quality team; develop appropriate systems to address emerging issues.
6. Identify areas for technical upgradation and plan/implement technology upgradation initiatives through the functional head and project team.
7. Ensure readiness of the Injection Department (General & Anticancer) for regulatory authority inspections.
8. Monitor productivity norms and take appropriate action for improvements.

Requirements

• Qualification: B. Pharm
• Years of Experience: 15–20 years
• Hands‑on experience in Liquid Injection and Lyophilization Process.
• Proficient with cGMP, GDP and S.A.P.
• Sound machine knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing a unionized workforce is an added advantage.
• Work experience in a USFDA/MHRA/WHO regulated plant is mandatory.
