The Family Parent Support Partner works as part of a team with behavioral health, medical, educational and other professionals. Parent Support Partners assist parents and families, helps to improve their well-being, advocate for their needs, and become more independent at making informed decisions for their family’s wellbeing. The Parent Support Partner uses their own life experiences to help and encourage the people they serve. They teach skills, share helpful information, and show others that recovery and positive change are possible.
