DHL eCommerce in the United States is seeking a Package Handler to efficiently process and sort mail and parcels, ensuring accurate label printing and placement.

Responsibilities include meeting sorting targets, inspecting labels for zip code accuracy, operating sorting machinery, scanning labels, and maintaining a clean workstation. The role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent training and/or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process all incoming mail and parcels, aligning with designated area requirements and maintaining our high-quality standards.
• Ensure sorting and processing targets are met or exceeded consistently.
• Inspect each piece of mail to ensure the labels are affixed correctly and the zip code on the label matches the address zip code.
• Operating sorting machinery which may include loading cardboard boxes (Gaylords) and/or bins and rapidly placing mail/parcels onto conveyors.
• Scan labels and maintain workstation.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Flexibility to adapt to different operational areas as needed to support the business.
