Job summary

TJARNELL INC. is seeking a delivery driver to service Bremerton, WA and surrounding ZIPs. The role requires driving, loading, and delivering packages safely from 7:30am starts, with uniforms provided and on-site equipment including trucks and fuel owned by the company.

Candidates should be 21+, have a clean driving record and background, and pass a drug screen. No experience necessary, though preference for those with delivery experience may apply. PTO and sick leave are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.

• Clean drug screen with no marijuana (commercial driver).
• Able to move packages up to 150 lbs (hand truck provided).
• Be on time for 7:30am start.
• Uniforms provided.
• Be courteous to the public, coworkers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform a DOT pre-trip inspection.
• Rearrange preloaded step van or load Transit for the day.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Drive and deliver safely and timely.
• Report truck defects to mechanics; keep interior and exterior clean.

We service and deliver Bremerton 98312 and Seabeck 98380 zip codes. We load and dispatch trucks from Fife Wa.

Whats Required ;

• Must be 21 years or older
• Clean Driving Record
• Clean Background History
• Clean drug screen, NO marijuana allowed (commercial driver)
• Be able to consistently move packages, up to 150lbs(we provide a hand truck)
• Show up to work on the days scheduled on time at 7:30am
• Wear a uniform(that we provide)
• Be responsible and courteous to the public, fellow employees and customers

No experience necessary, though hiring preference is given to those with experience

Job description-

1. Preform a DOT Pre trip inspection
2. Rearrange step van that is preloaded, or fully hand load the Transit that you are in for the day.
3. Work outdoors despite the weather
4. Be able to drive and deliver in a safe and timely manner
5. While major repairs are done by mechanics, drivers will be expected to report any truck defects. Keep the interior and exterior clean.
