Job summary

Tjarnell Inc. is seeking a dedicated CDL driver to load, dispatch, and deliver packages across Bremerton and Seabeck areas from Fife, WA. You will perform DOT pre-trip inspections and ensure timely, safe deliveries while maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

Benefits include 401(k), health and dental insurance, PTO, and paid driver training. No experience required, though experienced drivers are favored. Uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Clean driving record.
• No marijuana drug screen required, but must pass mandatory drug testing for commercial drivers.
• Be able to move packages up to 150 lbs (hand truck provided).
• Arrive on time for 7:30am shifts.
• Uniform provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform a DOT pre-trip inspection.
• Load and dispatch a preloaded step van or Transit as assigned.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Drive and deliver safely and promptly to designated locations.
• Report truck defects and keep the vehicle interior/exterior clean.

Be able to consistently move packages, up to 150lbs(we provide a hand truck)

Show up to work on the days scheduled on time at 7:30am

Be responsible and courteous to the public, fellow employees and customers

No experience necessary, though hiring preference is given to those with experience

Job description-

While major repairs are done by mechanics, drivers will be expected to report any truck defects. Keep the interior and exterior clean.
