Job summary

First Student is seeking a Paratransit Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day responsibilities and processes of the Paratransit team. You will train, support, and provide guidance to team members, ensuring First Student remains a leader in leveraging technology for efficiencies and superior customer service.

Responsibilities include building a strong team through recruiting, training, and coaching, conducting performance appraisals, and aligning with company goals.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Project management skills preferred.
  • Previous customer support experience preferred.
  • Transportation logistics preferred.
  • Very strong analytical skills required with proven ability to break complex problems into simple components.
  • Excellent communication skills required.

  • Assign standards and deadlines to team for projects or operational improvement efforts.

Job description

Ensure First Student is the industry leader in leveraging technology to create operational efficiencies while providing best in class customer offerings.$95,000/annually


Major Responsibilities


  • Manage the activities of Paratransit team.

  • Assess the skills and skill levels necessary to achieve work objectives.
