West Broward Academy in Margate, FL is seeking a full-time paraprofessional to support classroom instruction. The role involves planning, guiding student activities, and assisting the lead teacher across daily lessons.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED with Para Pro, and an Associate's degree or 60 credit hours. STEM teaching experience is preferred to support science, technology, engineering, and math activities.

• High school Diploma and/or GED with Passing Para Pro Test.
• Associate's Degree and/or 60 credit hours.
• Experience teaching STEM related curriculum (preferred).

• Conducts learning activities with students.
• Guides students to work and play harmoniously with others.
• Alerts teacher to special needs of individual students.
• Provides escort and assistance to students as needed.
• Maintains individual records for students.

• Assists with supervision of students.
• Collects and displays suitable materials for educational displays.
• Supervises students in the cafeteria during lunch times.
