This posting is for a full-time Paraprofessional at Postlethwait Middle School . This position is temporary for the 2026-2027school year.

QUALIFICATIONS

Individuals who currently hold or are eligibleforan Instructional Paraeducator Permit are encouraged to apply.

REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for the permit, you must meet one of the following:

Option 1

• Hold a high school diploma or recognized equivalent AND
• Meet testing requirements by either:
  • Earning a qualifying score of 459 on the ParaPro Assessment (1755) (available through August 31, 2026), or
  • Achieving scores of 329 on ParaPathways: Reading and Writing (5758) and 334 on ParaPathways: Mathematics (5759)

Option 2

Hold an associate degree or have completed a minimum of 60 semester hoursfrom a regionally accredited institution, with a grade of \"C\" or better in each course

(Final approval of accepted credits is determined by the Delaware Department of Education).
