Job summary

Zionsville Community Schools is seeking a Multi-lingual Learner Paraprofessional for ZCHS and ZWMS. This is a full time, benefits eligible position paying $16 per hour. This position will assist the ML Teachers with the ML students at ZCHS and ZWMS.

They will communicate with teachers, staff, parents, and families, maintain confidentiality of student information, attend in-service and staff meetings, assist with instructional materials, and provide personal care supports to students as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting ML students in K-12 context.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse school stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Willingness to participate in in-service and staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively and professionally with teachers, staff, parents, and families as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Assist classroom teacher with maintaining availability and organization of instructional materials.
• Provide individual personal care supports to students.
• Attend in-service, training, and staff meetings as directed by building or district administration.
• Other duties as assigned by Classroom Teacher or Building Administration.
