Job summary

Our client, Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc., is seeking Teacher Aides/Paraprofessionals in the Newark area. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour. The position follows a 8:00-3:00 schedule, Monday through Friday, during the 2026-27 school year.

Responsibilities include keeping students on task, ensuring progress according to each IEP, assisting with transitions between classes, and performing other duties as requested. A supportive credentialing environment is offered through DTG.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students in K-12 settings.
• Background checks, TB screening, and fingerprinting required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; college credits are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep students on task academically.
• Support progress per the student’s IEP.
• Assist transitions between classes throughout the day.
• Perform additional duties as requested.
