The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students in Livingston, NJ. This full-time role emphasizes creating a positive learning environment and assisting educators with classroom activities.

You will work with students who have Autism, applying ABA-informed strategies, and help manage behaviors to promote student growth and safety. This is a meaningful, mission-driven opportunity to transform lives.

Formación

• Experience working with students who have Autism
• Previous school setting experience preferred
• Knowledge of de-escalation and CPI is a plus
• Open to supporting students with severe behaviors

Responsabilidades

• Provide paraprofessional support in classrooms
• Assist teachers with behavior management and student engagement
• Support individualized education plans and daily activities

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with working with Autism (required)
• Previous experience working in a school setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of ABA (preferred)
• Open to working with severe behaviors (ranging from mild to severe) and aggression (ranging from mild to severe)(required)
• Previous experience with de-escalation and/or Safety Care/CPI preferred
