Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group in Frankfort, IL is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students and collaborate with teachers in a public school setting.

This full-time role requires IL Para certification, relevant experience with behavioral and medically fragile caseloads, and a commitment to student growth, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• IL Para certification (registered in Will County) required.
• Experience with severe behavioral caseloads in a public school classroom setting is required.
• Experience with medically fragile caseloads in a public school classroom setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor students with behavioral supports in class.
• Support instructional activities and classroom routines under supervision of teachers.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and admin to implement behavior plans.
• Support students with medically fragile needs as per individualized plans.
