Job summary

Rush City Schools is seeking a full-time paraprofessional to join CE Jacobson Elementary and Rush City High School for the 2026–2027 school year. This role provides direct support to students and classroom staff.

Paraprofessionals work collaboratively with teachers to help students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally, for approximately 7 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education or the ability to pass the ParaPro Assessment.
• Previous experience working with students is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong communication, patience, flexibility, and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group support to students.
• Assist students with academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Support classroom instruction and student activities under the direction of licensed staff.
