Job summary

Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs in Delaware is seeking full-time temporary Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year to support student achievement and well-being across assigned classrooms. Positions may include Instructional Paraprofessional or Additional Support Paraprofessional, with assignments determined by administration at John S.

Charlton, Kent Elementary Intensive Learning Center, or other district sites.

Qualifications

• Qualification requires Instructional Paraeducator Permit or higher education credentials as noted.
• ParaPro or ParaPathways scores must be met per Delaware DOE requirements.
• Official transcripts, resume, and letters of recommendation may be required.

Job description

Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs is currently seeking full-time temporary Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year to fulfill various needs in the building based on student enrollment, IEP's, programming and instruction. Positions may include Instructional Paraprofessional, Additional Support Paraprofessional, or other specific assignments, as detailed by administration, to support student achievement and well-being. This posting includes openings for Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs only. Positions will be assigned to John S. Charlton, Kent Elementary Intensive Learning Center, or various classroom locations throughout the District. QUALIFICATIONS: Individuals who currently hold or are eligible for an Instructional Paraeducator Permit are encouraged to apply. REQUIREMENTS: To qualify for the permit, you must meet one of the following: Option 1

• Hold a high school diploma or recognized equivalent AND
• Meet testing requirements by either:
  • Earning a qualifying score of 459 on the ParaPro Assessment (1755) (available through August 31, 2026), or
  • Achieving scores of 332 on ParaPathways: Reading and Writing (5758) and 334 on ParaPathways: Mathematics (5759)

Option 2

• Hold an associate degree or have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours from a regionally accredited institution, with a grade of "C" or better in each course
