Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is hiring part-time, hourly paraprofessionals/behavior therapists to support ABA programs in the Carmel area and surrounding communities. This role focuses on delivering one-on-one instruction under BCBA guidance and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to help children reach developmental goals.

Responsibilities include data collection, family communication, and maintaining confidentiality in line with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years working with children ages 2–21 in supervised setting.
• Completion of 20-hour classroom training and competency exam.
• Comfortable working in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists on the case.
• Communicate with families with debriefs and home/community resources and strategies.
• Collect daily data and organize child’s program book weekly.

We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community and clinic settings. Now Hiring: Part-time, Hourly Paraprofessional/Behavior Therapists

LOCATION: Cases Available in Carmel and surrounding areas

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, as well as resources and strategies that can be implemented in the home and community to promote consistency
• Collect daily data and organize child's program book weekly
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a passion for working with children, families, and therapists!

• At least 1-2 years working with children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting

OR

successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field

• Experience using ABA preferred
• Successful completion of 20 hour classroom training provided by Achieve Beyond and passing grade on competency exam upon completion of training

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be self- motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with children, family members, and supervisor
• Passionate about helping children and families, and providing services of the highest standards!
• Must be comfortable working in a home-based setting

Compensation is determined based on experience and education, and will be discussed during the interview process.

Hourly Rate: $19-$25
