Job summary

Nimble paraprofessionals strengthen programs by assisting staff and supporting students in assigned classrooms. You will work under the SPED Director and superintendent, being reassigned as needs change, and help provide support aligned with district goals and student needs.

Responsibilities include assisting staff in reteaching, supporting the regular education setting, and helping students access the general curriculum.

Job description

Paraprofessionals are persons employed to strengthen various programs by assisting the staff. Paraprofessionals shall be assigned to a building by the SPED Director under the direction of the superintendent and may be reassigned as the needs of the district change. Paras are to assist the staff in providing adequate support in relation to the objectives of public education, district goals and student needs.
