Job summary

Amergis in Oak Forest, IL is seeking a School Aide to support students needing instructional and behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education team. The role may include assisting with personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals.

The position is a contract—full time role paying $22.00 per hour with a 33.75-hour workweek and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and weekly paychecks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable; TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
