- Job Summary: EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and passionate Paraprofessional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students with special education needs and help implement IEP goals.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group academic support to students.
- Monitor student behavior and encourage positive classroom conduct.
- Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and bulletin boards.
- Support students with personal care needs when required (e.g., toileting, feeding, mobility assistance).
- Communicate student concerns and progress to teachers and other educational staff.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate degree or college credits preferred (requirements vary by district/state).
- Paraprofessional certification or passing a ParaPro assessment may be required.
- Experience working with children in educational, childcare, behavioral, or special education settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
