New Story Schools in Dillsburg, PA is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to assist teachers in helping students aged 5-21 with autism and behavioral challenges achieve academic and personal growth. You will support individualized goals, monitor progress, and promote a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities include implementing IEPs, assisting with transitions and daily activities, and collecting behavior data under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• At least three months of experience supporting individuals with learning or behavioral disabilities
• Knowledge of behavior management and classroom support strategies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay calm and consistent during challenging situations
