Job summary

AMR is seeking Paramedics who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality care and both basic and advanced patient care to our customers. This full-time role involves leading on-scene operations and providing critical EMS services across 911 responses in our service area.

Responsibilities include assessing calls, applying paramedic protocols, using defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and IV therapy, and communicating clearly with patients and their loved ones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while following Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and IV fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
