Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Paramedic Supervisor for Life Flight Network in Waterville. The role oversees day-to-day shift operations, staff supervision, and ensures high-quality patient care and transportation at the Paramedic level.

The position requires 3 years of Paramedic experience, ACLS and PALS certifications, a current paramedic license, EVOC within 6 months, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll support a robust EMS program with strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Paramedic experience (required).
• ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required).
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (required).
• Current paramedic-level certification in state of practice (required).
• Valid State Driver’s License (required).
• EVOC certification required within 6 months of hire (required).

Responsibilities

• Performs essential duties of Paramedic during shift.
• Manages fleet maintenance and ensures preventative maintenance.
• Ensures resources are available for daily operations and deployment needs.
• Assists with incident investigations and review processes.
• Collaborates with Management Team to advance the organization.
• Receives, handles, and routes inter-agency disputes to appropriate resources.
• Provides patient transportation and direct medical care as needed.

Paramedic Supervisor - Life Flight Network - Waterville

Job Summary

The Supervisor, Paramedic is responsible for the day-to-day operations during the shift including, but not limited to scheduling, handling complaints, supervising all staff, and ensuring proper patient care is provided. Paramedic supervisor will provide medical care and transportation of emergency and non-emergency patients at the Paramedic level of care defined by the State EMS scope of practice.

Essential Functions

• Performs essential duties of Paramedic
• Handles issues regarding fleet maintenance and ensure preventative maintenance is being performed
• Ensures availability of resources for daily operations and assist in tactical level of deployment to meet system needs
• Assists with the investigative process for handling and reviewing incidents and issues
• Participates with the Management Team in progressing the organization forward
• Receives, handles, and routes inter-agency disputes/issues to the appropriate resource
• Provides patient/client follow up

Education
