Job summary

Ridgeview is seeking a dedicated paramedic to respond to routine and emergency requests, assess patients, provide treatment, and transport patients under physician medical control. The role includes operating and maintaining ambulance bases, ensuring safety, and supporting community events.

The position requires Minnesota Paramedic certification, BLS/ACLS, a valid MN driver’s license, and strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to handle high-pressure scenarios with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old for insurability.

Responsibilities

• Systematically collects and analyzes assessment data.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care in line with SOPs.
• Transfers patient care to qualified providers.
• Maintains safe working environment with focus on preventative safety.
• Operates and maintains ambulance and base with safety checks.
• Supports community events and Ridgeview public relations activities.
• Assists in departmental managerial duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
