Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center seeks an Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic to deliver high-quality emergency care at the scene and during transport in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities include scene assessment, CPR/airway management, IVs, ACLS-guided interventions, documentation, and collaboration with ED staff. Required licenses include ACLS, BLS, PALS, Paramedic, and Georgia driver's license. Evening shift in the United States.

This position provides emergency care at the scene of an accident or other emergency. Responsibilities involve preparation for response, response, delivery of care, transportation, documentation, and post response duties. Also attends to patients being transported by ambulance on non-emergency calls and is responsible for the patient's safety in route. Responsible for performing an initial assessment of the scene and patient including obtaining a brief targeted history and completing a physical exam. Recognizes and evaluates patients who require immediate attention and when necessary initiates emergency life saving treatment. Delivers and/or supervises the delivery of emergency patient care such as administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation, oxygen and resuscitation with an ambu bag. Intubates when necessary. Inserts IVs and administers medication according to physician order or ACLS protocol. Also may participate in life safety programs, community awareness programs, and other programs as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.
