Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ is seeking a PRN EMS Driver to deliver Advanced Life Support care in pre-hospital settings. You will work as part of a patient care team, providing ALS care, patient lifting, and transport to medical facilities.

Required: 2 years of ALS EMS experience, High School diploma, current BLS/ACLS/PALS or other certifications, ICS-100/IS-700 and IS-200/IS-800 within first year, a clean New Jersey driver’s license and valid auto insurance; 12‑hour shifts and PRN work

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in an active EMS system providing Advanced Life Support (ALS).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP or EPC certifications.
• ICS-100 or equivalent and IS-700 or equivalent upon hire; IS-200 or equivalent and IS-800 or equivalent within first year.
• Current state issued driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital Advanced Life Support (ALS) care in all weather conditions, in cooperation with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team.
• Care will be rendered to patients of all ages who experience any injury or illness, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move and transport patients to appropriate medical facilities.
• Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties which support efficient EMS operations while maintaining a professional attitude.

Short Description

Experience Required

2 years’ experience within an active EMS system providing Advanced Life Support (ALS).

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

License/Certification Requirements

ICS-100 or equivalent and IS-700 or equivalent upon hire.ICS-200 or equivalent and IS-800 or equivalent within first year of employment.

Current state issued driver's license with clean driving record.

Criteria for Employee Base Fleet Driver Eligibility:

• The driver must be between the ages of twenty-one (21) and seventy-nine (79).
• The driver must show proof of valid personal automobile insurance coverage in the State of New Jersey.
• The driver has no reported driving-related violations or accidents in the past three (3) years
