The ideal candidate holds a paramedic certification or A.A.S., with a degree in Paramedic studies or equivalent, and BCLS/OEMS EMT-P credentials; ACLS/PALS may be required in select areas within a year.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification or A.A.S. in paramedic studies.
• Bachelor/degree in paramedic studies or equivalent preferred.
• BCLS and OEMS EMT-P certification required or obtained within timeframe.
• ACLS or PALS may be required in some areas within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in emergency settings.

• Utilize protocols and medications within scope of practice.
• Document care and re-assess patients in the EMR.
