Job summary

Austin Radiological Association (ARA Diagnostic Imaging), a Radiology Partners practice, seeks a skilled paramedic to support outpatient imaging in the Greater Austin area. You will perform patient assessments, secure IV access, assist with contrast injections, and monitor patient safety under RP standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized, approved Paramedic program.
• Current Texas State License.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS or willingness to obtain.
• One year of paramedic experience in EMS or ER.
• Two years ICU or radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily check of supplies and equipment; maintains adequate levels and reorders as needed.
• Assesses patients to obtain medical history and determine contraindications for procedures.
• Performs QA of patient schedules; prepares for care including interventions and sedation prep.
• Inserts and removes IV catheters per policy.
• Assists with contrast injections and monitors patient safety post-exam.
