Job summary

Hightop Health is seeking a Paramedic to deliver advanced on-site clinical medical response within our integrative psychiatry setting in Cartersville, GA. The role supports interventional psychiatric treatments, including SPRAVATO and ketamine-based services, and aligns with Hightop Health policies and scope of practice.

This clinic-based position does not perform 911 transport. You will work with providers, monitor care, document accurately, and ensure safety, equipment readiness, and protocol

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a paramedic.
• Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology and medications.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions in stressful situations.
• Adaptable with a calm demeanor.
• Excellent working knowledge of medical equipment and devices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SPRAVATO and ketamine-based treatment visits per protocols and orders.
• Ensure a safe, supportive treatment environment with proper observation and documentation.
• Support efficient patient flow and scheduling for treatment days.
• Provide high-quality patient education and service recovery within scope.
• Check and maintain equipment; log medications.
• Lead and coordinate patient treatments and report to other healthcare professionals.
• Evaluate patient physical, mental and emotional condition.
• Attend to patient needs before, during and after treatment.
• Use tech tools to monitor patients and ensure continuity of care.
