Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford is seeking a dedicated Paramedic for night shift to join our emergency care team and provide high-quality pre-hospital and in-hospital patient support.

You will perform advanced procedures during treatment and transport, communicate clearly with patients and staff, and complete accurate incident and patient reports.

This role requires CT Paramedic license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and the ability to stay calm under pressure in emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and completion of an accredited Paramedic program.
• Paramedic CT license and state medical certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Ability to think and act calmly in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Assess situation, provide necessary medical care to treat, stabilize and prepare patient for transport, use of specialized equipment, such as ventilators and defibrillators, when needed.
• Communicate clear, concise information with patient, family members, colleagues on-site and with medical staff at healthcare facilities.
• Writing and submitting accurate incident and patient reports.
