Job summary

Twin Township Ambulance seeks a Paramedic to provide urgent medical care and patient transport from the New Lothrop station. You will respond to emergencies and work with a partner to stabilize patients in the field.

Shifts may include weekends and holidays, with two 24-hour shifts per week at our New Lothrop location. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $24.52 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan paramedic license and valid Michigan driver’s license.
• CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Pediatric and trauma certifications or ability to obtain within six months.
• ICS-100, IS-700, IS-800 certifications or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls with patient assessment, treatment and transport.
• Collaborate with partner and responders to provide safe, compassionate care.
• Complete patient care reports, daily ambulance checks and station duties.
• Maintain ambulance, equipment and station; participate in required training.

Location: New Lothrop, Michigan
Pay: $22.00–$24.52 per hour
Schedule: Two 24-hour shifts per week, based at our New Lothrop station

Twin Township Ambulance is seeking a paramedic to provide emergency care and transportation for the communities we serve. Shifts may include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and provide patient assessment, treatment, and transport under applicable medical control protocols.
• Work with your partner and other responders to provide safe, compassionate care.
• Complete patient care reports, daily ambulance checks, and assigned station duties.
• Clean and maintain the ambulance, equipment, and station.
• Participate in required training and maintain clinical skills and certifications.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan paramedic license and valid Michigan driver’s license.
• Driving record acceptable to Twin Township Ambulance’s insurance carrier.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Pediatric and trauma certifications required by medical control, or the ability to obtain them within six months.
• ICS-100, IHC-200, IS-700, and IS-800 certifications, or the ability to obtain them within six months.

Applicants must be able to perform the physical duties of the position, including lifting and moving patients and working in varied weather and emergency conditions.
