Job summary

Global Medical Response in Kansas is seeking a Paramedic to deliver advanced patient care on 911 responses. This full-time position offers a starting salary of $43,929.60 per year with credit for experience and opportunities to lead on scene.

You will assess calls, operate defibrillators, monitor EKGs, manage IV fluids, and coordinate with other emergency personnel. BLS/ACLS are required; PALS preferred. A valid driver’s license is required; apply to join AMR’s trusted team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Kansas Paramedic certification or eligible for Kansas certification.
• State Driver's License.
• BLS and ACLS required upon hire; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while following Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
