The Paramedic provides advanced prehospital emergency care, delivering high-quality patient assessment, treatment, and transport services. Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited Paramedic training programrequired

Experience:

• PreviousEMS experience preferred

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Paramedic certification (state-specific) required upon hire
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within60 days
• Mandatory Reporter training (child and dependent adult abuse) required within90 days
• National Registry Paramedic (NREMT) and/or PHTLS certification preferred
