Qualifications

• Certified in the state of Virginia as a Paramedic.
• AHA BLS - HCP, ACLS, PALS, Haz Mat Awareness, NRP and PHTLS or BTLS required within one year.
• Maintains knowledge of basic computer skills and applicable software.

Responsibilities

• Administers life support care and transport to patients in pre-hospital settings.
• Responds to medical emergencies in a 911 setting.
• Prepares required reports and maintains records of activities.
