Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an EMT-Paramedic to implement nursing and patient care based on knowledge and standards. You will collect patient data, identify outcomes, and apply interventions as part of the care plan.

You will work with physicians and hospital staff to address the needs of adolescents, adults and seniors, while supporting quality care and professional development. This is a full-time 40-hour/week role in Summerville, GA with a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited EMT-Paramedic program required.
• Current EMS Paramedic license required.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record required.
• BCLS certification annually required.
• ACLS certification encouraged.
• Certification in related specialty encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient health data and identify expected outcomes.
• Implement interventions in the plan of care and evaluate progress.
• Interact with family and interdisciplinary team to maximize care quality.
• Collaborate with medical staff to support the plan of care for all ages.
• Independently perform job functions and contribute to performance improvement.
