CorrectHealth in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Paramedic for a full-time position inside correctional facilities. You will deliver emergency medical care, coordinate with healthcare staff and law enforcement, and operate under supervision to ensure high-quality patient care.

Possession of paramedic licensure and BLS is required, ACLS preferred for enhanced clinical duties. The role offers competitive pay and benefits, with opportunities to grow within a multi-disciplinary medical organization

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required at minimum.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties under supervision of LPN, RN, HSA/HSC, midlevel providers, or physicians.
• Maintain professional conduct and ensure patient care within scope of practice.

Current certification to practice as a Paramedic in the state of employment. American Heart Association BLS. American Heart Association ACLS. Knowledge and ability to perform emergency care within scope of practice.Participates in the clinical aspect of the patient care with all members of the health care team and law enforcement. Performs duties under the supervision of a LPN, RN, HSA/HSC, Midlevel Provider and / or Physician in accordance with the rules and regulations of the state of employment. Possesses knowledge and ability to provide care to the Inmate population as well as respond to needs within the correctional environment. Maintains a professional attitude at all times.

Required License or Certification: Paramedic
