• Assess glucose, interpret ECGs, and administer ACLS as needed.
• Perform CPR, administer medications, and manage airways incl. intubation.
• Assist with childbirth and care for mother and baby outside hospital.
• Transport patients including wheelchair-bound individuals safely.

Responsibilities Include

• Responding promptly to emergency calls to deliver effective care to ill and injured patients.
• Monitoring ambulance readiness and maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and quarters.
• Providing direction to EMTs during calls and managing patient care during transport.
• Assessing blood glucose levels, interpreting ECGs, and administering ACLS treatments as needed.
• Performing CPR, administering medications via multiple routes, and managing airways, including intubation.
• Assisting with childbirth and caring for mother and baby outside hospital settings.
• Transporting patients, including those in wheelchairs, and ensuring safe, efficient transfers.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid driver's license, Paramedic licensure, certifications in PALS, ACLS, BLS, ICS-100/200/700/800, HazMat awareness, and emergency response training from FEMA. Experience in driving and providing emergency medical care is required.
