Qualifications

• NREMT or current state license (or pending).
• Ability to provide medical care at the EMT or Paramedic level while safely transporting patients.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record and ability to operate a vehicle in various conditions.
• Pass a pre-employment interview including a physical and lifting exam, drug screen, and background check.
• Attend company provided training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in training as a Paramedic.
• Provide safe transportation, including accurately discerning street names and addresses for efficient travel.
• Appropriately assess a patient and communicate condition to other medical professionals.
• Provide an accurate written report describing patient condition, medical history, and treatment.
• Provide documentation for billing information.
• Maintain the vehicle in sanitary condition and monitor all fluid levels and gauges.
