Vanderbilt Health in Nashville seeks a Paramedic PT for LifeFlight Event Medicine. As part of a mobile/onsite team, you will provide ALS and critical care, transport patients, and engage in rapid, high-quality emergency responses at events throughout Tennessee.

Shifts are 6–8 hours on average, with 3 weekend events per quarter and self-scheduling options. Minimum 4 events per month; night and weekend work common. Certification in Paramedic required.

• Ventilator management under supervision; adequate practical proficiency.
• Critical thinking with clear, rational problem solving.
• Airway establishing skills at basic, practical level.
• Medication management basics and patient history review.
• Assessing, intervening and stabilizing patients in emergencies.

• Actively participates with other members of the healthcare team to provide direct patient care.
• Transports patients via various modes of transportation while providing ALS/critical care for all ages.
• Responds to emergency requests within Vanderbilt, Vanderbilt-sponsored or contracted events.
• Identifies patient and unit problems and finds solutions and follows through with team.
• Effectively communicates patient handover to the health care team.
