Job summary

First Call Ambulance is seeking paramedics to serve our hospital and medical facility clients. Flexible full- and part-time schedules are available.

Paramedics perform lifesaving procedures and drive to transport patients; require valid state EMS license and active driver's license, and current CPR, ACLS, PALS, trauma certifications. The role involves paperwork, equipment checks, and collaboration with staff to ensure patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state EMS license with no disciplinary action.
• Active driver's license in the state of residence.
• Current CPR, ACLS, PALS, Trauma Certification (PHTLS, ITLS).
• Advanced Pediatric Certification (EPC/PEPP).
• Employee may be given 6 months after hiring to obtain Trauma and Pediatric Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs as a Paramedic within the scope of practice.
• Drives an emergency or non-emergency vehicle using defensive driving techniques.
• Completes required paperwork and documents accurately.
• Evaluates vehicle and equipment daily for cleanliness, safety and functioning.
• Reports accidents, problems, incidents, or equipment/vehicle issues to management.
• Attends in-services and QA activities to maintain knowledge.
• Maintains First Call Ambulance core values and mission in the community.
