Qualifications

• Paramedic license is required; Firefighter II or Basic Operations preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum age 21; valid Illinois driver's license.
• ACLS and PALS training will be provided by Metro.
• Pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the EMT-P level.
• Operate within the scope of practice as defined by IDPH/EMS Commission of Illinois.
