Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigate illness/injury and assess patient condition using ALS protocols.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments with vital sign monitoring.
• Operate and maintain two fire apparatus, a rescue vehicle, a boat, and related equipment.
• Receive emergency calls and coordinate response using fire department radios.
• Conduct fire drills and assist police with disruptive individuals as needed.
• Respond to hazardous materials incidents as a first responder and assess risks.
• Schedule: 72-hour work week including weekends/holidays.
