Job summary

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking full-time Paramedic/Firefighters for the Crete Township contract in Illinois. The role involves providing medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, following IDPH and EMS Commission guidelines.

Starting base annual pay is $78,840.32. Qualified candidates will hold a Paramedic License, Firefighter II or Basic Operations certification, CPR, and a valid Illinois driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must possess Paramedic License and Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid Illinois driver’s license.
• ACLS and PALS training will be provided by Metro.
• Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level within the scope of practice.
• Operate under Illinois IDPH EMS regulations and EMS Commission of Illinois guidelines.
• Collaborate with municipal partners and EMS teams to deliver high-quality emergency medical services.

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc.is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services.Much of our proven success is attributable to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees.

We are currently seeking full-time Paramedic/Firefighters for our Crete Township contract. Starting base annual pay is $78,840.32.

The basic function of the Paramedic/Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

Paramedic/Firefighter Qualifications:

• Paramedic License
