Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. in Crete Township is seeking full-time Paramedic/Firefighters to provide medical care and transport for patients at the EMT-P level, under IDPH/EMS Commission rules.

Starting base pay is $78,840.32 annually, with a comprehensive benefits package and on-site training opportunities. The position requires a Paramedic License, Firefighter II or Basic Operations certification, CPR, ACLS/PALS (training provided), a valid Illinois driver's license, and a pre-employment

Qualifications

• Paramedic license is required.
• Firefighter II or Basic Operations certification required.
• CPR certification is required.
• 21 years of age.
• Valid Illinois driver's license.
• ACLS and PALS (Metro will train).
• Pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the EMT-P level.

• Support the Crete Township contract with municipalities served.

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc.is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services.Much of our proven success is attributable to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees.

We are currently seeking full-time Paramedic/Firefighters for our Crete Township contract. Starting base annual pay is $78,840.32.

The basic function of the Paramedic/Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

Paramedic/Firefighter Qualifications:

• Paramedic License
• Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• ACLS (Metro will train)
• PALS (Metro will train)
• Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
